Who am I?
A good question to ask yourself is who am I? On this blog we are particulary interested in what kind of people read our posts but it is also a good starting point. We continue to create practical steps to improve the quality of our lives and help the people around us. So, imagine you aren’t happy with the life that you are currently living; we think that looking inward can solve this so we can improve our mental health and lead a more full-filling life. Self-reflection is critical because it contributes to your self-concept, which is an important part of your identity1.
Practical steps of self reflection
Step-by-step reflection
- Step 1: Practical experience
- Step 2 Look back and make an overview. Ask yourself questions.
- What has happened? What is going well and what isn’t?
- What level of maturity/professionalism have I showed?
- What could I have done differently?
- Step 3: Strategies
- What will I change and how am I going to do that?
- What would I like to achieve?
- What can I try out differently?
- Step 4: Practical experience again
- Step 5: Analyse
- What has happened?
- What was important?
- What is the root of the issue?
- Step 6: Develop new strategies
Thank you for reading this post with Personal Development tips. Hopefully they can help you a bit. Also, working on resources to include in this post when they are done.
